About Solutions Leather Care

Mike Bell has had a long career within the furniture and leather industry and his knowledge on the subject is extensive. After 22 years in the furniture trade  Mike was fed up with only being able to offer his customers who were buying leather suites, very expensive cleaning kits. In those
days even though expensive, the kits did not offer good protection and were difficult to use.

It was an ambition of his to develop something more simple to use for cleaning and conditioning leather and most importantly top quality and not to mention affordable. 

In 1989  after extensive meetings with an innovative chemical company Mike was involved heavily in the research and development of the original leather cleaning solution. 

Solutions leather Care was born.

Important to Mike was that the products which were developed for Solutions were, and still are, more technically advanced than most available expensive alternative products.

The product was quickly snapped up by the popular shopping channel QVC in the UK, Europe and the USA and never looked back, selling millions of bottles to very satisfied customers.  The original leather cleaner has remained a firm favourite with customers. Mike was also keen to develop a conditioning product that was going to help prevent wear and tear, protecting the surface of leather ............'Lustre' was born.

Due to the popularity of white, cream and pale coloured leathers a higher strength product was devised, this one has been a huge hit with customers who were experiencing difficulties with engrained dirt.

The product range has grown over the years and and now includes dye stain remover, ink remover 
and a new aniline  range of cleaners and conditioners. This was in response to the ever changing leather market and new age leathers
